One of the most challenging areas of froth flotation is oxidized copper flotation. To achieve the required metallurgical performance when working with such slowly floating minerals as malachite or chrysocolla, a specialized reagent mode is needed.

For such minerals, there is a proven, reliable solution in the form of Oxfloat H10 and H8 hydroxamate reagents, as they perfectly float a wide range of minerals. Due to this, the use of these reagents allows the beneficiation of ores with complex oxide mineralogy, including copper ores with oxidized or oxide-coated minerals.
